Cyber attacks are growing and becoming ever more sophisticated. 74% of large organisations and 42% of small organisations report a breach or attack in the last year.

The British Retail Consortium recently held a day long briefing with the National Cyber Security Centre and will follow up by continuing their regular series of online briefings, starting with a meeting on cyber culture and on ransomware developments in November.
Phishing remains the most prevalent type of cyber attack, but sophisticated AI attacks are becoming more common and are harder to detect. All business owners need to be aware of the threat posed by cyber attacks and how harmful these can be, so the NCSC has produced a series of items to help small and large businesses understand the issue and how to access resources to protect themselves.
