Should I Use a Business Coach?

In my world, yes absolutely! A business coach can provide so much benefit to any business. When it comes to florists, it’s important to recognise that we can be so caught up in the day to day running of our business, that it can sometimes be difficult to "see the wood for the trees".

My consultancy business has a constant flow of enquiries from florist owners who:

  • have been in business for years but have lost sight of where they want the business to go.

  • have staff concerns.

  • would like some kind of training within the business.

  • have bought an existing florist business and need advice.

  • launched a florist business from scratch.

  • have many other concerns.


Two great words that sum up what a Business Coach can offer are "Objective Perspective" – often offered by a business coach as they look with an unbiased view at your business, helping to identify areas for improvement that you might overlook.



A coach helps keep you accountable for your commitments and goals, ensuring you stay focused and on track. Many coaches have extensive experience and can provide valuable insight and advice which is based on their own successes and failures.


Developing key business skills is valuable in any business, and I can help with leadership, communication, planning and time management. All of these skills will assist you in tackling specific areas and challenges.
