Apply to BT Group's Apprenticeship Fund with Small Business Britain

Updated: Jun 3

Our friends at BT Group have committed to transfer up to £4 million to provide fast, straightforward access to apprenticeship funding to support SME, charities and public sector businesses.

At BT Group their purpose is to connect for good. That's why they're helping to provide fast, straight forward access to apprenticeship funding for small businesses, charities and the public sector through our partnership with Babington.

To qualify, businesses must pay their staff the national living wage, and the staff member/apprentice must be 22 years or older (as the government currently fully funds apprenticeship training for those aged 21 and under).

It’s important to note this fund can be used for current employees, you do not have to hire new people as apprentices to qualify.

92% of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) reported that apprenticeships resulted in a more motivated and satisfied workforce, leading to increased productivity.

Small Business Britain is the UK's leading champion of small businesses, supporting all 5.5 million small businesses in the UK – no matter their location, their sector, or their ambition level.

Through a series of reports, events and campaigns, Small Business Britain champions, inspires and accelerates small businesses in the UK to foster growth and increased confidence.
