When? 15th - 21st June
Theme: Flowers for the Future
What is British Flowers Week?
The week is a celebration of the UK’s cut flower industry. Since its launch in 2013 by New Covent Garden Flower Market, it has grown in size and impact as consumers become more aware of the origins and sustainability of flowers. In 2024, Flowers from the Farm, a professional trade organisation for over 1000 independent growers, took over running this annual event.
2026 is the United Nations International Year of the Woman Farmer, so it’s fitting to shine the spotlight on this mainly female-led UK flower growing industry under the same banner.

So how can you join in?
If you’re a retailer, make a splash with UK grown flowers and foliage by giving them a special area in your shop or outside display. Add flags, bunting and create signage so your customers know they are buying British.
Design a window display with a British flowers theme.
Create designs that are made solely from British flowers and don’t forget to add them to your website.
Run a workshop using British grown flowers to make floral headdresses, or organise a summer demonstration using seasonally and locally sourced blooms.
How to find your nearest supplier
If you don’t already stock British grown, this is the right time to start. You can find your nearest supplier on the Flowers from the Farm website www.flowersfromthefarm.co.uk
What’s on
17th - 21st June
The Garden Museum in London will once again be celebrating British Flowers Week when five talented designers create large scale installations within the beautiful, deconsecrated church which houses the UK’s only museum dedicated to gardening.
