Fabulous First Flower Lounge Live

Take three florist shop owners, one industry communicator, 200 viewers and a line of Ducks and what do you have? A fabulous, fun and hugely informative hour-long discussion on all things floristry that got the viewers engaged and enthused and the three panellists thinking of ways they could work together!

Run by the Floristry Trade Club in association with The Florist Trade Magazine, Kate Hester-Lock of Grand Flowers in Eastbourne, Dominic Hughes of Pot Pourri Flowers in Kew and Gareth Davies of The Flower Shop in Oxford manage to cover the key points needed to remain confident in the face of challenges, discuss ways florists could harness their strengths to grow their sales and show how talking as a collective could help everyone.

Hosted by Caroline Marshall-Foster, Editor of Florist Trade Magazine, the programme was the first of a series of events designed to cover key issues facing the sector.

And the Ducks? Well that all relates to the special feature Caroline has written and which look at ways florists can get their ducks in a row and get ready to take on whatever the next few months might throw at them. As the panellists said be prepared and all is possible!

Look out for the next Flower Lounge Live and be part of the action ... it promises to be another belter!
