Is it Time for a Store Makeover?

One of the most frequent questions asked by retail owners is how often should an environment be freshened up and how much should they spend in doing so.

How often is dependent on a number of factors including location, target market and price proposition. For instance, if you are located in a trendy and upcoming area which majors on selling higher end product then a major face lift can be expected on the cards every 3-5 years. This timeline can be extended by a couple of years if you operate in a more midmarket, traditional retail area and extended to up to 10 years for a serious change if the marketplace you operate in is price conscious and heavily discounted.
