RHS Chelsea : The world's most famous flower show

2022 is the 109th Chelsea Flower Show and back to the right time of year!

Held in the 11 acre grounds of the Royal Hospital, The show will feature 350 exhibits from around the world, 39 inspirational gardens and 80 Great Pavilion exhibits.

Alongside the sensational gardens will be the new All About Plants category which champions the positive impact of plants, and garden designers new to Chelsea have created Balcony and Container Gardens designed for urban living.

RHS Chelsea’s Great Pavilion will again be filled with the glorious sights and scents of spring. Some of the world’s finest growers and nurseries will be back offering impressive displays and expert advice.

After an enormously popular debut in 2021, the Houseplants Studio is returning to Ranelagh Gardens in 2022 to provide more plant-filled home inspiration.

The Discovering Zone in the Great Pavilion will be home to educational exhibits promoting the latest discoveries in horticultural science.

Decorative floral and plant displays will be featured at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2022 to reflect The Queen’s long-standing support for the RHS, as well as her love of flowers and gardens. Her Majesty has been the Society’s Royal Patron since 1952 and was a regular visitor to the show with her parents as a child. Her first visit to the show as The Queen was in 1955, attending more than 50 times during her 70-year reign.

A bespoke sculptural portrait

Renowned florist Simon Lycett, who has created many floral arrangements for the Royal family, is designing a bespoke sculptural portrait of Her Majesty in the official Platinum Jubilee shade of purple. The silhouette will be covered on both sides with an assortment of native British-grown tree branches with connecting inner shelves arranged with 70 terracotta pots, hand-made in Warwickshire and planted with lily of the valley, one of The Queen’s favourite plants as it was featured in her Coronation bouquet.
