The Changing Face of Floristry

In the many years that I have worked in this industry, I have seen numerous changes in styles, trends and training but one of the biggest changes has been the diversification of businesses by florists.

In the 1980s when I started, florists were considered a little wild if they sold anything other than cut flowers and plants, a scented candle could cause palpitations!  Fast forward to now and a whole range of giftware, cards, candles, soft toys and balloons can be sourced in any High street florist.
