Floristry Winners at Harrogate Spring Flower Show 2025

There were four competition classes specifically for professional florists and students in training at this year’s Harrogate Spring Flower Show.
The Season Awakes
This class was for competitors with over three years’ experience in the industry. Competitors were required to create a bridal design to be held in the hand.
First place and Best in Show went to Abigail Dewhurst.
Second place went to Violeta Veikmiene.
Third place went to Danial Spillane.
Crown of Destiny
This class was for competitors studying floristry at Level 3 or below. Competitors were required to design a crown to be worn at a JRR Tolkein-inspired event.
First place went to Nikki Wright.

Second place went to Sasha Deamer.

Third place went to Megan Deakin.

Pride in Bloom
This class was for competitors studying floristry at Level 2 or below. Competitors were required to create an arrangement to celebrate LGBT+ Pride Month.
First place went to Nicola Ayre.

Second place went to Emma Greenhaigh.

Third place went to Rebecca Kill.

From the Darkness
This class was for professional florists and florists in training. Competitors were required to create an exhibit to celebrate April's Whitby Goth Weekend, to be staged on a mannequin.
First place went to Violeta Veikmiene.
Second place went to Emily Lanigan.
Third place went to Vanessa Wellock.
