Having worked in the family business, Clowance Wood Nurseries, for nearly 30 years, it would have seemed logical for James Cock to take over from his parents when they retired. However, times had changed for the nursery and the decision was made to sell the business instead. James and his wife Deborah bought a new farm and set up Flowers by Clowance, a wholesaler of British grown flowers and foliage.
