Spring cleaning is on the horizon, not just for the home, but for the plants that live in it as well. Over the winter most houseplants are pretty dormant but now, like us, they are beginning to sense the lengthening days and warmer temperatures that lie ahead. This means a gradual return to regular watering and feeding, increasing amounts slowly so as not to overwhelm them at first. But some also need a good clean on top of that, plants with large leaves such as Monstera, Alocasia and Sansevieria will have accumulated a layer of dust over the winter months so could do with a wipe down and polish – and the best way to do that?
