Seasonal Favourite: Forget-me-not

Not just in the countryside, this pretty blue wildflower is popping up in gardens, at the base of walls and even in-between paving slabs.


It’s not difficult to see why Forget-me-nots are so named. Its Latin name ‘Myosotis’ is from ancient Greek and translates as ‘mouse ear’, a reference to the shape, size and texture of their tiny grey leaves.
