Lovely Longiflorum featuring Floristry Tips from Su Whale

A symbol of purity, innocence and rebirth, the Longiflorum lily naturally blooms in late spring and in doing so has become synonymous with Easter. Also known as the Trumpet or Bermuda lily, its long, white flowers, with just a hint of green, have a delicate, floral scent.
Trumpet lily is obvious from its shape, but why Bermuda lily? Although endemic to Taiwan and parts of Japan, it was in the early 20th century that the island of Bermuda began growing Longiflorum for the American market. Production is now centred along the Californian and Oregon border, where so many growers are concentrated, it is known as the Easter Lily capital of the world.
