In the top 10 of the world’s favourite flowers, the tulip is an iconic spring bulb and one which has been growing steadily in popularity at Valentine’s Day. The red rose will never be knocked of the top spot, but the tulip is not far behind!

With roses seen as being almost exclusively a female gift, red tulips are frequently bought by women for their other halves, and by men who know their partners well enough to realise that red roses are not their ‘thing.’
It doesn’t have to be exclusively red tulips though, you can expand your tulip range to include other colours which will help with the buying, as we all know that anything red in February fetches a premium price.
Flowers and colours all have meanings, and, at the most romantic day of the year, there is no better moment to promote the message behind the blooms.
